Continuous Delivery & Continuous Deployment

So this weird thing happened to me at Agile Testing Days last year.

I’m at the bar, talking to someone I just met about continuous delivery, and he points out that I’m wrong in my use of terms, that in continuous deployment, the code goes automatically to production while in continuous delivery, it becomes a business decision. It seemed really odd because I have the 450 page book on the subject on my shelf and looked up the definitions before the plane flight, and I had never heard it put quite that way.
